Owner and Stylist
Lorraine Aprile is the British owner of the salon. She was educated and trained as a hair stylist in London, England.
She spent the early years of her career there and after a spell working as a stylist on cruise ships sailing out of Fort Lauderdale and around the Carribean Islands, she decided to relocate to the USA. She worked in the Washington DC area from 1989 until 2003. Then she had the opportunity to fulfill her life long dream and she opened her first salon in Alexandria Old Town. She brought many of her clients from DC to the new salon and very soon her clientele increased rapidly.
Lorraine has for a number of years been the stylist to many ABC news correspondents, her client list also includes tv and movie celebrities.
Lorraine´s schedule is Monday to Wednesday, 11 am to 8 pm, Thursday, 9 am to 1 pm, on two Sundays per month she works from 11 am til 3 pm
Salon Manager
Karen Digby, Lorraine´s sister, has considerable experience in customer service and business administration. Karen was also educated in London, England. She joined the team in 2008 as salon manager. She is responsible for the smooth and efficient management of the business.
