British born Lorraine Aprile, Owner and Stylist was educated
and trained as a hair stylist in London, England. She spent the early years
of her career there until she decided to relocate to the Washington metro
area in 1989.
In 2003 she came to Old Town, Alexandria where she realised her dream and opened
her first salon. |
Karen Digby, who has considerable experience in
financial management and business administration, trained in London England. She joined Lorraine Aprile Salon in
2008 as Salon Manager.
She is responsible for the smooth and efficient organisation
of the business. |

Angela Russell, Stylist and Make Up Artist
is a 1995 graduate of Graham Webb International. Previously a salon educator
for Aveda, she is committed to education, as demonstrated by her B.A. from
the College of William and Mary and her subsequent studies of haircutting
and color at Aveda's academies in New York and Minnealpolis. |
| Jessica Marston, Stylist, is a graduate of the Graham Webb School of Hair
Design, and has worked in Old Town, Alexandria for several years . She is a
former employee of Windsor of Old Town and the Gentlemen's Quarters. Jessica
is well rounded in all aspects of hair design. |

We were delighted to welcome Kirsten McCulloch who joined the Lorraine Aprile Salon team. as a Stylist in July 2009. Kirsten has extensive experience in hair design, cutting and coloring and has been working in the Alexandria area for 20 years.She is a graduate of the Redken Color exchange of New York and has completed education classes with Trevor Sorbie, Rusk and John Dellaria. |
Shakira Amey, recently graduated
from T.C. Williams High School where she took an interest in beauty and hair
studies.
She is now undertaking in-house training as a hair
stylist, She is already proficient in hair braiding

Kat Lehner
Native of Alexandria, Kat has been in the hair industry since 1987, when she started her apprenticeship at the Easel of Id. Becoming licensed in 1989 she has been styling hair for 21 years. Staying educated via various hair shows, classes and advanced color classes locally and in New York City. Her specialties are hair color and hair cutting.
