The keratin treatment changed my life. I know that sounds very dramatic but it is true. I have a lot of hair and it is very thick, wavy and can get really frizzy, especially on humid days. This treatment made my hair smooth and straighter. Even in th DC heat my hair looked great. It lasted nearly 9 months. Rather than having to keep my hair pulled back all the time I was able to wear it down and had vey little maintenance on it. The treatment may seem expensive but it is totally worth it.

I couldn't believe the transformation. I told Lorraine I wanted something drastic. Well, she knew exactly how to cut my naturally curly hair. When Lorraine was finished, she gave me a mirror to see the back of my head and I was astonished. I can't remember the last time I had such an incredible cut. The previous salon I visited had badly damaged my hair with a perm and color treatment. I was extremely upset. I looked like a wild woman with dry frizzy hair sticking out. I found Lorraine Aprile's salon on this web site and after reading the reviews I knew she was the hair stylist for me. Lorraine spent time with me explaining the problem and the best fix which meant cutting off as much of the damaged hair as possible. Lorraine gave me a wonderful hair cut and colored my hair with a more natural brown. I now have soft shiny curls. I am thrilled and look forward to my next visit to the salon.

They were so nice to me, I had my hair highlighted and cut and I look fabulous! " On September 27, the day of my wedding, my six bridesmaids, my mother, my godmother and I spent the day at Aprile's. I cannot think of a better way to spend the day of your wedding! We were greeted with champagne, juice or water in wine glasses and we sat down outside at the table under the umbrella to work on the seating arrangements. Lorraine was perfectly prompt and two of the girls went in to get their hair washed, heads massaged and their hair set.
I felt pampered and coddled all day, just as a bride should! Lorraine's assistant washed my hair, then put in the warm curlers. Lorraine put up my hair with a veil comb and it looked simply astonishing! Her assistant did my make-up, exactly the way I wanted her to (not too much or too heavy, but enough to make a difference in the pictures). We rotated between relaxing upstairs and last minute work that needed to be done out on the veranda. Lorraine and her staff even offered to order lunch for us!
It was the perfect start to the perfect day. I would recommend it to absolutely any bride!"
