 The Lorraine Aprile Salon is situated in the heart of Old Town, Alexandria, just a few blocks from the King Street Metro. It is located on South Fayette Street, 50 yards from King Street. It was opened in 2003 by British Owner and Stylist, Lorraine Aprile

This quaint Victorian house which still has some of its original features, provides the setting for the salon.

A message from the owner:

In Old Town there is no shortage of hair salons, so you are spoilt for choice. Why would you come to Lorraine Aprile Salon?  The salon was created with love and passion and we like to think that we are one of the best in the area.  We do everything as well as our competitors and we try very hard to do things better than they do.

Coming into our salon for the first time, you will probably be surprised by the cozy, intimate and welcoming atmosphere that you will find. There is never a rush, we believe in personal attention and we are happy to spend as much time with you as is necessary.

You will first have a consultation with your stylist, then you will receive a wonderfully relaxing shampoo before your hair styling session.

We want you to leave having had a pleasant experience and with a feeling that you can´t wait to return.

The welcoming and warming fireplace with its log fire keeps the salon cozy in the colder winter months.

In the warmer months of Spring and Summer,while your color is processing, the shady patio provides a haven for you to sip a glass of wine or a coffee
